Our history

La Tapatia Supermarket was opened in 1999 as one of the first Mexican grocery stores in North Carolina. Our vision was to bring our Mexican culture to the locals. During that time, Mexican and other hispanic products were really difficult to find and we wanted to change that. For over 21 years we have remained a family-owned business dedicated to providing the highest-quality authentic products, convenience, and satisfaction for every client and we'll do what it takes to make it right because our customers come first!
